Sandbox Level

This is made with Unreal Engine 4. The goal of this project is to create a place with a specific theme filled with interactable objects.

 

Level Design:

  1. Made sure to that assets and materials/textures used bode with the theme and all the other assets.

  2. Used volumetric fog to create realistic effect.

  3. Applied post processing like vignette to add mood and chromatic aberration when player close to teleporter.

  4. Added sound effects with attenuation on certain objects such as the dancing robot, alarm clock, space control center toy and laptop.

Mechanics and Features:

  1. Physics gun: grabs, move its relative location and pushes objects

  2. Added physics simulation to certain objects.

  3. Rocket Balloon: Floating object

  4. Laptop playing video

  5. Breakable objects

  6. Teleporter

  7. Jump pad

  8. Animations with trigger
